Aliases Alias options can be accessed from the Options > Aliases
menu.
Aliases allow users to receive mail destined for
multiple addresses by masquerading as different people or departments. Aliases also allow
several users to receive mail for a single address. For example, an alias of sales could
be setup with so that users Administrator and boris would both receive mail addressed to
sales@company.co.uk.

Adding an Alias:
- Enter the name of the new alias, e.g. 'sales', in the
'Name of new alias' field and click the Add button. You
should note that you do not need to add the '@' sign or the domain name in this field.
- The alias will appear in the Currently
Assigned Aliases listbox.
- To add a recipient to the new alias, click and hold
the left mouse button over the user you wish to add from the right hand window and drag
the user onto the newly created alias. Repeat the process to add multiple users to an
alias.
- When the user is added, a plus (+) symbol will appear
next to the alias. Double clicking on the alias with the left mouse button will show the
users currently attached to that alias.
- Click Save to effect any changes you
have made and exit the Alias menu.
Deleting an Alias:
- Highlight the Alias you wish to delete in the Currently
assigned aliases listbox.
- Click the Delete button to remove
the alias from the system.
- Click Save to effect any changes you
have made and exit the Alias menu.
