UDP Port Mapper

The UDP Port Mapper is used to map ports on the CProxy Server to other ports on a remote host using the UDP protocol. When a user then connects to CProxy on the mapped port, all data is sent to the designated port on the remote host.

CProxy Server: UDP Port Mapper

To a UDP Port Map:

  • Select UDP Port Mapper from the Options > Protocol Options menu.
  • Enter the local port you wish to map in the Local Port field.
  • Enter the port number you wish to create the map to on the remote host in the Remote Port field.
  • Enter the hostname or IP address of the remote server in the Remote Host field.
  • Click the Add Map field to add the map.
  • The new port map will appear in the Existing Port Maps window.

To delete an existing Port Map:

  • Select UDP Port Mapper from the Options > Protocol Options menu.
  • Highlight the map you wish to remove from the Existing Port Maps window.
  • Click Delete Map to remove the Port Mapping.

Allow UDP requests to initiate Dial-Up Connection

Checking this box will allow CProxy Server to initiate a connection to the Internet when it receives a UDP request. In most cases, this box should be left unchecked.
